A little about Lineah
Hi! I'm Lineah! I have been dancing all of my life (my first performance was at 3 years old!), and I have been teaching for over a decade. I own Hana Ākea and Hana Beats, teaching workshop based classes in my home studio, and I perform with Hana Entertainment. I am a wifey and a mommy and I absolutely love life! I have been married to my amazing husband since 2012 and together we have 4 beautiful children (Watch out for them, you might see them on the dance floor!). When I'm not chasing children around, I love to create art, play music and sing, meditate, read, journal, and take long bubble baths with music, candles, oils, sage, etc (all the witchy things ;)). I love to travel and the ocean is my happy place. I love animals, and occasionally breed my dog and deliver and raise puppies to send off to loving, forever homes when they're ready. I'm a Leo and I'm living this life passionately and loving it! I'm so excited to have you join my Ohana and to come learn and grow with me!

In loving memory of David Cancilla

My brother, Joseph and I, created Hana in loving memory of our brother, David, who passed away in a motorcycle accident a few hours after my wedding reception several years ago. David was an amazing dancer and always stole the show! Some of the last pictures that were taken of David were while he and I were performing a dance together at my wedding just about 8 hours before he passed away.

David loved all styles of dance, not just Polynesian dance. He was a beautiful ballroom dancer, suave Latin dancer, energetic break dancer, and on multiple occasions he’d even pull me out of the car at a gas station for a little twerk session while the gas was filling up! David was full of life and Joseph and I are continuing his Hana (work) on this earth and honoring his legacy by teaching others to love dance and bring them joy like he did. Aloha ‘Oe Kawika ~ Until we meet again!

A'ohe Hana Nui Ke Alu 'ia
